What are Alkynes?
--->these are a form of hydrocarbons which have triple bonds, symbolized by three dashes. It takes the general formula of CnH2 n‐‐2, wherein the number of Carbon atoms is doubled then subtracted to 2 to get the number of Hydrogen atoms
Distinguishing Alkynes from the others:
1.Name ends with "-yne"
2. Follows the general formula, ex: C2H2
3. Has the triple dash
